Hey guys,
Sorry that I'm not there today and it's the first week. You are all perfectly capable of doing this without me there. You've just got to buckle down, focus, and work hard during class time.
Most importantly--Be GOOD for Mrs. George. If I get a report back from her that isn't full of glowing praise and how behaved and respectful you all were, prepare to have some consequences handed out to you in the form of points being deducted from your daily grade.
You are going to read the 5 articles linked below. In a GoogleDoc, takes notes of particular passages and insights that you like. You'll need these notes to help craft the reflection essay we'll be working on on the Monday we're back from break. Be thorough with your note taking. The more notes you have, the more evidence you'll have at your disposal for the essay.

Trimester 2, Week 1, LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Hello everyone!
It's a brand new trimester! We've got an awesome 12 weeks ahead of us and can't lose any time! The business world is fast paced and we've got to keep up. Besides, you've been at school for awhile now and are already in the swing of things. Starting this class should be easy--you're already familiar with things like GoogleClassroom, creating projects, and checking your Davis emails.
This blog is where you'll go to find all the information that you'll need. Syllabus? Check. What we're doing that week in class? Check. What you'll need in class? Check. Presentation slides? Check. Ways to bribe Ms. Garrison into giving you an automatic A in the class? No. You won't find that here. I can't be bribed.
So don't forget to check this blog each week so that you're prepared to learn the moment you step foot into the room.
Week 1
Monday-- Introduction, Create a You-Logo
Tuesday-- What is a business? What are good business practices and bad business practices? What are types of businesses?
Wednesday-- What is an entrepreneur? What makes a good entrepreneur? What makes a bad entrepreneur? What type of entrepreneur are you?
Friday-- Brainstorm your idea. What sort of business do you want to have? What product do you want to sell? How are you going to achieve this goal?

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful Rosh Hashanah. Now that we've ushered in a new year, it's time to usher in our proper marketing!
That means COMMERCIALS!!
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we will be filming our commercials.
When one group is filming, you may read over your scripts and practice, make last minute adjustments to your scripts, or if you need to do last minute adjustments on your prototype, that is what you will be doing.
Just because you are not filming does not mean it is free time to goof off.
On Friday, we will be witnessing the Second Continental Congress!
